The usual exit for the PICO editor - cntl-x.
I've also noticed this hanging up occasionally web browsing
with LYNX, with the same fix.
(I've only been using this combination for a couple of days now.)
I don't know if this is
because of some (unknown to me) change with the FreeNet, or that I haven't
found the right tunings for the the OS and Kermit yet.
I'll go back and try under some other DOS versions and see if they
experience it also, but I don't recall this happening previously.
Is IBM TopView the task manager for PC DOS 7.0?

3.14, with just a dialup connection.
Need any other information?
